I've been so caught up in other parts of the site that I had completely forgotten about this - thanks to Paul for reminding me.

We have many new members that have found our corner of the web in the last month, so I look forward to the nominations and voting.

For those who don't know, every month we have a short round of nominations and then voting for a Member of the Month. The award is a logo that is placed in your signature for that month, and tells everyone else that you've earned that honor. Every monthly winner is placed into a pool of members that are eligible for member of the year honors. This vote happens after the end of the calendar year. Bill Schwab is our reigning Member of the Year, Paul was the winner for our first Member of the Year Award. Member of the year honors include a logo placed in the winner's signature, but there are also prizes. This year was a Compq PDA and a few other PDA goodies. Last year was a custom-built PC. We haven't decided what next year's winner will receive, but it'll be good.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's hold a period of nominations for the next 3 days, at which point I'll set up a thread to cast your vote. Anyone can make a nomination, and you should base your nomination and vote on who you feel contributed the most to the site or to your business over the last month.

So let's open things up for nominations.

Reply to this thread to make a nomination.

Guess my post doesn't really make sense, does it?

I was nominating GLAN, and noting that MOTM honors can be bestowed on anyone, even those who have won in the past. Bill Schwab for instance won several times last year.

Sorry about the confusion...too long at the desk today.

Well.... let me thank.....all of you. I appreciate the honor and just hope some of my ramblings and wild ideas help some one. I for one know that knowing Bill S over the last few years, has taught me not to discount any possibility in my business, and if you dont think and plan in the manner in whcih you want to reach, then you won't...

I am still up for a GTX conference in the heartland somewhere next winter....

Hey Dale!
You earned it. Congrats. I've enjoyed your posts, especially the hard-nosed ones about planning and budgeting...keep it up and you'll join Bill and Paul in the GTX Hall of Fame! :cigar:

You deserve it Dale with the wisdom you bring here coupled (more importantlly) with your ability to raise all those children! With six of our own, under the age of 12, I probably will need some help

GTX conference in the heartland somewhere next winter

You can't get much more centralized than Omaha!

In a few more years, your nursery is going to take up 150 acres of Oregon space and you will be selling world wide.
Congratulations Dale.
