Drainage Channel

I need an economical light duty drain channel with removable covers, probably 4" wide w/ connectors preferably on the ends.

I want to put it along the top of a creek to catch runoff from the yard and stop erosion.

Any suggestions?

Most of those channel drains are designed to be concreted in, which does not make them low cost. A better way to do it, if the grade permits is going to be to cut a swale near the creek and plant some type of grass or groundcover in it. The only outlay you have at that point is the labor to cut it in, and you would have to had to do that to install a channel drain anyway.

Grated drains clog-if they are draining a lawn area it's hopeless. Proper grading for surface drainage is the way to go.
