Identifying pod

Good morning all,

A friend recently gave me a plant pod, and I'm curious as to what it could be. It's a fuzzy, brown pod approx. 2 1/2 inches long. Both ends are pointed, with one end tapered. Inside is one seed, which is shiny black and about the size of a dime.

I attached a scan of the pod. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know what it could be?

It looks like a Tamarind, used for making this awesome Mexican drink with Quervo.

It looks like a wisteria pod to me. But be careful. In my knowledge, plant a wisteria from seed may cause no flower in first many years.
