Brown Spot

I live in GA and have a bermuda lawn. All across my lawn I have small brown spots thoughout my turf. I've heard you can treat 2 different ways. One is by fertilizing (I just don't remember what type was recommended). Then there is always the fungicide treatment. I really would rather fix this myself before calling in professional help. Any recommendations?
