I saw Rex mention Il Campo when talking about the urethane pad we use on our compactors.

I've alsways been nervous about using that paver, for fear of the texture wearing off or wearing down. I really wanted to see it perform, so we spec'd it into a display design we're doing for one of our suppliers. It looks gorgeous, just wondering about durability.

Il Campo seems to hold up well enough. In my opinion it looks good from far, but far from good. It does seem to hold a lot of dirt. I haven't sold any yet.

It holds up well under traffic. Some considerations when using Il Compo. Not for around a pool......ouch on the feet. Not for a driveway either the repetitive pattern of the tires would "break off" the ridges. It is a cool product. Did you lay it yet? You can create diffident looks by laying the pavers with the ridges lining up front-to-back or side-to-side. It's pretty pricey, but a nice product for the right application. Unilock has one of the best and most expansive products lines....I miss my Pisa, Brussels Block, Brussels Dimensional, Unigranite and Pisa corners for pillars and the Pisa lights.

We only have access to Pavestone and Belgard products.

Peace,

Just a little for this supplier's display. We weren't savvy enough to align the 'grain'...

For the display, the pic doesn't really show it, but the texture and look of the Il Campo and the look of the Brussels separated by the Unigranite looks really slick. I couldn't see using that setup in a patio, but it really catches the eye, the color and texture difference.

It's all still a little dusty from all the cutting...

This is an Il Compo job we did a couple of years ago.

Peace,

Rex

Both pictures look great. I really like the detail of the mini steps on the corner of the wall on Stonehenge's display. It really adds to the wall.
