August Member of the Month - Nominations and voting

We'll do things a little differently this month and see how it goes - rather than have a round of nominations and a round of votes, we'll lump it all into one.

Nominate whomever you'd like, and anyone who agrees with that nomination and would like to vote for that person, just post your vote.

I'lll tally the votes at the end and announce the winner.

So let's hear it - who's your member of the month, to reign in August??

We have some new blood this month, so let's see if we can get some new names into the mix. :woot:

I am new to this, & don't know how the process works. Do you win a new car or something. If so I nominate ME.

Otherwise from what I have been reading so far Paul appears to be the most knowledgeable of all. I especially liked his input into the gabion footing for the water feature in the dam.

So I nominate Paul.

That's only if he already hasen't won a new car.

Ah, I wish the prize were a new car. I would probably lift the 'Administrator can't win' restriction if it were. ;)

The Member of the Month Award is recognition on this site by means of a special logo put at the bottom of your signature for the month of your reign. Agla is the current award winner - take a look at one of his posts and you'll see the logo. With the award that member is also included in the list of members elegible for the Member of the Year Award.

Winning Member of the Year honors also gets that member a custom built PC, made by me.

The PC will go so fast, it'll feel like you're in a speeding car. :)

I wish to thank my parents, because of them I would not be here to accept this prestigious award.

I wish to also thank everyone who voted for me. I want you all to come down to the pub and I will shout you all a beer.

Thanks to Ground Trades Xchange, for if it wasn't for their generosity and great foresight, this award would not exist.

Also thank you God. I know I haven't been the best I could be, but from today on I will make a concerted effort to help my fellow man to achieve world peace.

I believe it was the swim suit section that clenched the award for me.:woot:

I would also like to say that you all might regret this decision. I love seeing the award icon under my posts. So I just might have to participate even more so that I can gloat.:p
