I say pick up the cores after aerating, my wife says just leave em. What do you guys say? Any good methods for clean up?

Always good advice.

Plus, you ever tried raking up the plugs?

Leave 'em. If it's good enough for golf courses, it's good enough for residential yards.

The cores are beneficial. They willbreak down when exposed tot he surface and refill the holes.

IF you need to speed up the process alittle then you can go over the yard witha power rake set so iti s just at the surface level.

We always leave them, whatever doesn't break down fast enough just gets mowed up anyway.

I take a peice of chain link fence and drag it around to brake them up. I hate mowing when someone else has left them for Mother Nature to brake down.
