Hey guys,
I need some quick responses for a formal fountain i am building. I do a lot of fountain and waterfall work but all of it is in the ground and I attempt to make it look like how God made it ( not that I come close). So the concrete/ formal look is new to me.
I put up the speed block last week to get the general shape, and started putting a stone veneer on( 3 rivers ledger) The designer called me today and said, 'pull it all off we want tile!!!!':rrr:
So my first question is do i use thin set or mortar on the concrete blocks to put up the tile, also I would usually put a liner in to ensure no leaks, but if i am going to tile the inside to I need to seal the cement. What is the best way to seal the blocks before I lay the tile? Can I still get a liner in there?
Thanks

I usually build natural ponds and streams too..but I remember someone talking to me about a product that might help you. I've never used it and don't know much about it, but do a google search for:
Polyurea elastomer spray liner

It may be possible to set your blocks, use this spray liner, and then maybe tile and mortar on top of it?? I'm not sure, but may be worth looking into.
