I'm anxious to see the DNS information propagating across the web so that people will start re-finding GTX when they type groundtradesxchange.com in their browsers or follow their shortcut links.

If you can read this, can you post a quick reply, so I know that's starting to happen?

It'll help me to know if I need to call the "red phone" at the host to work on this or not.

Thanks for your help!

I'm feeling like I might be some sort of time traveler - the site seems to be "live" on both servers, and drilling down from the server level seems to show this thread not existing on the site that's on the new server. Or maybe it is. Depends on where you check.

So this thread may disappear in the next 12-36 hours as DNS info propagates across the web and everyone is redirected to the new server. If it does, blame it on a problem in space-time.

Loud and clear. Hope whatever bugs you discover are easily resolved - I don't spot anything here on this end. Buggy, I mean.

I think we've got things pretty well hammered out. There are probably some server settings I'll have to tweak in the coming weeks, but it looks like everything is pretty much in order, and there isn't a hole in space-time.

In all I think it went pretty well.

Thanks to those who posted here to help me test this thing.

The net is faster these days.

Our oldest son posted a new website - brand spankin new - last month, registered with GoDaddy and added at the same server as his other few websites.

He was able to access it in 5 to 10 minutes through Google and Yahoo.

Mario - This is not about a new site - the issues are different when you change servers.

Thanks for posting all the same.

I think that with the info I have, it's safe to say the move was a success and everything is where it's supposed to be. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Well, I finally got around to logging on ... now to check out the new format. You're coming through just great here in probably the dryest state in the country ... AKA, GA. Landscaping activity practically shut down in a lot of areas. Bring on the rain! But the prospects of rain don't really look good at the moment.

Take care, y'all.
