Yesterday I saw this edger blade on the web that you can put on a stick edger and use it to trench bedlines for straw and mulch installs. Has anyone ever used it? what did you think about it?

A few manufacturers make multi-use systems like that.

Do you know of any other blades like that? if so, can you point me in that direction.

If you are talking about the trenchblade I tried it and can give you a solid...undecided.
I am using the blade in the northeast to redefine bed edges. My goal is to be able to re-edge beds (after the initial hand edging) with the trench blade. I was hoping the width or the blade would make it clear out more of the weeds near the edge of the bed.
It does a decent job but I am still convinced the best tool for re-edging beds is a weedwacker. Unfortunately, a weedwacker throws up a lot more material and is much more tiring to use than a stick edger.
For $10.00 or so they will send one to you. Why not give it a try yourself and let us know how you make out.
