just like the tittle says is there a way to have an autofill installed that would not require being blown out yearly due to freezing?

My guess (and that's all it is) is that the line would have to go directly from inside the house.. proceed underground deep enough to not freeze..perhaps come through the skimmer box below surface (where the water is circulating and not freezing).
..perhaps even wrap it tight with that styrofoam insulation when undergound?
..perhaps even keep a small surface heater in the skimmer so the float&line in there don't freeze?

I was thinking much like John except having the valve placed very deep in the pond (pond has to be deep enough that it dos'n t freeze. The float would have to be like the old sump pump floats that where attached to the valve by a long cord adjusted for proper depth.

or run it off your hot water line?
then do what was suggested above
