I sent my PM as well - if I happen to win, please choose someone else to win the magnet, as I already have one. ;)

Hey, I've been taking pictures of stuff all summer with my new digital camera. That thing is almost as addictive as this place!

Who's ready for some clues?
This plant has been in that spot for at least six years. It is a little less than 4 ' tall.
The colors you are seeing are its fall color. Normally the leaves are green.
More to come...

OK, here's the final clue.
The white flowers come in the spring and look like bottle brushes.
See attached photo... ;)
The winner will be posted on Sunday night.

The plant of the week is:
Fothergilla gardenii - Dwarf Fothergilla
This deciduous shrub is hardy in zones 5-8. It has bottle brush white flowers in early-Spring and excellent Fall color. Tolerates partial shade, though the specimens shown were grown in full sun. I like to use this plant in woodland planting and occasionally foundation plantings because of its compact habit. Try it, you'll like it!

It's my mother in law's house. Did that job back when I was dating the wife. One of my first landscape designs. I'm not the car buff a lot of you guys are but I'm thinking Camero.
Shall we go double or nothing on the make and model of the car?

Why not. I do know that it is a mid 70's f body. The wheels make me say firebird.:cowboy:

Here is my official entry for the car double or nothing.
1977 Pontiac Firebird formula
I think Dan is in there, but I think it is a little older than a '77. I'll guess '73. It looks more like the Rockford files than Smokey & the Bandit, again it is the wheels. ...I guess I'm getting old.
I guess we don't get a key chain in either case.

I think that the f bodies didn't get the wrap around rear window until 1976 so that is why I thought 1977. Spent to much of my youth being into muscle cars:blush:

The wife spoke the the neighbor yesterday. Are there any final entries to the model and year of the mystery car?
' 72 Buick Riviera ...just to be different.
Where is "My Cousin Vinny"'s girlfriend when you need her.
"were they available that year?"
"They wuh!"

Your guess was pretty good. Its a Firebird but not a Trans am. I would say you are the winner:cool2:
